Labour is killing growth. The choices they have already made are destroying busineses, leading to job losses, fewer hires, starving the UK of investment and are seeing many of Britain’s best and brightest leave our country for more hospitable markets.  Worse may be yet to come.  The Conservative Shadow Business and Trade team are determine to hold the Government to account, force changes where we can and prepare to return to government with a set of pro-enterprise policies and plans at the earliest opportunity. 

But however hard and diligently we work, we cannot do this alone.  Here are three ways you can help us on our mission:

Donate

The Shadow Business and Trade team receive no money form Parliament or the Conservative Party to support our work.  We urgently need to raise tens of thousands of pounds to cover the costs of everything from basics like modern social media tools to the salary of a dedicated policy researcher to help pry open the details of terrible legislation, such as the Employment Rights Bill.  

These are not classed as political donations and will not go to CCHQ, instead, they support our parliamentary work.

Platforms

The Shadow Business and Trade team need platforms to communicate that, under new management, we are unashamedly pro-business, that Labour should never be trusted again with the economy, and that Conservatives are the only Party who can replace this government.  Please consider inviting the team to speak at conferences, events, roundtable breakfasts or dinner.

Policy

We are starting the process of developing the Party’s policy on business, enterprise, and trade to be ready for a return to Government.  There are different ways to get involved: from contributing a specific idea, being part of a team developing policy in an area, to acting as a trusted ‘sounding board’.
